Women’s & Juniors come and try in Gunnedah

Following on from December’s highly successful community forum, the Gunnedah Bulldogs have announced plans to run come and try sessions for Women and Juniors ahead of forming teams to play in the North West competition.

The come and try sessions will be held at Wolseley Oval on:

Women’s only session (including coaches) – Saturday 1 February from 10:00am to 11:00am

Juniors (Under 14 and Under 17) – Saturday 8 February from 10:00am to 11:00am

Sessions are open to anyone wanting to try their hand at AFL footy without having to make a commitment to play. The sessions will be run by experienced coaches whose focus will be on participants having a good time and learning some skills.

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved with a start up venture as part of a successful club with a great culture. There are experienced female and junior players who have relocated to the Gunnedah area and the signs are good that the club will be able to field competitive teams.
