Sydney Swans raring to visit the North West
The AFL Community Camp program returns this year to what it was pre-COVID, with two Sydney Swans players scheduled to visit several North West towns, ahead of the 2023 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.
For the past two years, AFL clubs have conducted community camps virtually because of the pandemic. This year, more than 700 AFL players will be back visiting communities, meeting fans and inspiring the next generation in person..
The Sydney Swans will be hitting the road in the North West, making visits to schools in Tamworth, Gunnedah, and Armidale to run clinics for students of various ages.
The Swans will also be lending their support to the Tamworth Roosters come and try session to be held at Farrer High School (Callala Lane Sports Fields) on Wednesday 8 March from 4:00pm to 5:00pm. Boys and girls aged 5 to 17 years are encouraged to get along and meet the Swans players. For more information please go to the Roosters Facebook page.
