Start of senior season moved back one week

AN updated fixture for the 2024 senior competitions has been released.

A change was needed after the New England Nomads went into recess for this season to accommodate a four-team competition.

Prior to the creation of the fixture the clubs agreed at a meeting to play the opening round of the season on May 4 with the Grand Finals to be played on August 31.

The finals series will see the top three teams in both the men’s and women’s grades progress to post-season action. The team that finishes the Home & Away season on top of the ladder will go straight through to the Grand Final.

The venues for the finals this year will be based on the rankings in the men’s competition.
