Position open for AFL North West coach educator

Applications are now open to fill a Coach Educator position in the AFL North West for the 2021 season.
Duties include:
*Prepare and deliver a coach development workshop comprising both theory and practical components at the pre-season Education Roadshow. Topics to be agreed with the Community Football Manager.
*Attend the pre-season Crossroads Cup in Narrabri to observe coaches in match situations and provide feedback. Must attend the full day of matches to observe as many coaches of both men’s and Women’s teams as possible.
*Observe the coaches of each club team (all grades and age groups) in match situations on at least one occasion other than the Crossroads Cup and provide feedback.
*Attend the representative matches on the June long weekend to observe North West coaches in match situations and provide feedback.
*Develop templates to provide written feedback to coaches and their clubs.
*Prepare and deliver a minimum of two coach development workshops in addition to the Education Roadshow. Workshops may be delivered via video conference to facilitate the attendance of coaches from across the region. Topics to be agreed with the Community Football Manager and to be reflective of the needs identified through the observations of coaches in match day environments.
*Utilise AFL North West communication tools to provide coaches with access to resources and information that have the capacity to expand the knowledge base of individuals.
*Foster a culture of co-operation amongst coaches of all clubs that has a positive impact on retention, recruitment, and the overall growth of the code.
*Visit each AFLNW clubs as required (min 3 times year) and develop a pre-season training program for all grades and ensuring it is implemented and answer any issues or questions as required
Conditions of appointment:
a. Tenure of appointment is for the 2021 AFL North West season as indicated above.
b. Current Coach accreditation, preferably to Level 2.
c. Valid Working with Children Check.
d. Remuneration ($2,000) to be paid at the satisfactory completion of the appointment.
