Nominations open for Junior rep coaches & managers

Nominations are now open for coaches and managers wishing to be involved in the AFL North West Junior representative program for 2022.

Teams will be fielded at Under 13, Under 15, Under 17, and Youth Girls (Under 17) age groups. Teams will attend the Coffs Carnival in the second week of the July school holidays, whilst a second opportunity is being arranged for the June long weekend.

Recently partnered with the Sydney Swans Academy, the focus of the North West rep program will be on the development of the individual players, rather than team performance.

A Coaching Co-ordinator will be appointed to establish a common philosophy and direction across all four teams. Each team will have a Coach and at least one Assistant Coach appointed, with all Coaches required to hold a minimum of a current Foundation coaching accreditation and be committed to ongoing development.

Each team will also have a Manager who should have experience in a similar role and will ideally hold a current First Aid accreditation (or similar).
