ROUND 8 PREVIEW: It’s a heavyweight clash worthy of top billing.

The Tamworth Swans are sitting on top of the ladder in the AFL North West’s women’s competition and on Saturday they face the third-placed Gunnedah.

In a move promoted by both clubs, this encounter is a Women’s Feature Match with it holding the later time slot while the men start their match at noon.

At Inverell the men’s match is also a battle between the teams that are sitting first and third on the ladder.

The Tamworth Kangaroos face the challenging road trip against the undefeated Saints who are coming off a two week break after a bye and a long weekend off.

The women’s match at Varley Oval promises to be an interesting clash when you consider that when these two teams met four weeks ago the realist was a draw.
